The Merseybeat Story

The MerseyBeat story takes place every third Sunday in the month in New Brighton where The Tower Ballroom, the Pier, the Open Air Baths, and the Kraal Club, played such a large part in the MerseyBeat Story of the sixties.

The MerseyBeat Story takes place at Fort Perch Rock throughout the year from 1.00pm - 4.00pm, and features Live performances by MerseyBeat Legends from the 60s plus 60s tributes, discussions, question & answer sessions, and archive videos. Click the picture to visit the site.

Allan Schroeder organises the shows. Alan can be heard on Merseywaves radio every Monday from 8.00 pm to 10.00pm on 92.1fm.

He also has a special guest spot on Cath Bores Mid-Morning show 10.00am -12.00noon every Thursday.
