MerseyCats 20th Anniversary Show

The date of the anniversary show has been announced as October 9th, details of the show will follow,  and if you are a subscriber you will hear first.

Great news! A video of the 1st show has been released this week to get you in the mood for the 20th anniversary, as many of the stars who appeared in 1989 are set to appear this year.

It is hard to believe that its 20 years since the first show, which took place at The Grafton on Sunday 14th May 1989. The Committee are honoured that many of the artists performing on this DVD are still performing for MerseyCats.  To those who are sadly no longer with us, their contribution to the unique music know as "Merseybeat"  will always be remembered.

The DVD stars in order of appearance:  Karl Terry & the Cruisers ,  Earl Preston and the TTs , Geoff Nugent's Undertakers , Lee Curtis, The Four Most , The Merseybeats with Pete Best ,  Cy Tucker and his Band and Faron's Flamingos.
